Their services in the beauty industry are all things elegant and glam,
and they wanted their brand to reflect who they are in attracting their clients.
Their interior of their space features black and white chic decor, with French grotesque
gold details, so the natural blush tones and textures were an match.
The flirty and sophisticated type was selected for easy brand identification
to make them stand out from others in the beauty industry, and to
represent who they are on all media platforms.

Shannon Waltchack Realty | Illustration
It was an honor to create this tee design for Shannon Waltchack Realty. In their inquirement, they were seeking a design that would feature fourteen of their most iconic properties, predominantly in Birmingham. They were seeking a clean, sophisticated yet playful illustration of each property that could be used for the tee, as well as versatile to use in future marketing and advertisement for tenants at each property.
I chose to negative space and clean lines for each buildings illustration in order to make the art versatile for years to come as they grow as a company. The playful handwritten font adds the effect of a map to give the design a whimsical feel, yet still fits within the paramaters of their previously designed branding.
Jorja is full of life and fun in everything she does, so she longed for her brand to convey her vibrant personality to her photography clients.
Her photography business has grown exponentially over the past three years, and she was ready to create a brand that would grow with her as her business grows.
I chose to use a wide color palette pulled directly from her photo editing style, in order to translate her warm photo editing. The bold typeface in her logo in a bit unexpected in the realm of photography, but Jorja knows she is set apart from her competition because of her spunk + excitement behind the camera.
Grey House Embroidery is a female-owned local business that creates
custom embroidery pieces for their clients.
Throughout the branding process, they consistently wanted their brand
to reflect warm earth tones as well as things found within their own homes,
since each piece they make is intentionally crafted to be featured
in someone’s home.
The company name was inspired by the owner, Abby Snelling, and her
love for her first home that she and her husband share. She embroidered
an illustration of the small house on Auburn Avenue and asked if it could
be featured in the primary logo.
The illustrations are a few of my favorite additions to this brand.
They feature the tools used daily in embroidery and bring
a distinctive touch that fits Abby’s personality perfectly.
Their customers are primarily Auburn University students, so they wanted
the color scheme to reflect that of Auburn’s iconic orange and navy.
They prioritized that their re-brand aligned with their
former brand, so I incorporated the tiger tail from their
previous logo for easy brand recognition.
The bold and modern type was selected for easy readability on the
laundry bags that the logo would be printed on, as well as the van wrap.
